Hospital Programs

Hospitals are important centers of community health and medical care.  They also have complex training needs, and are in a unique position to provide health education to the community at large.  Interestingly, many facilities find it difficult to create efficient internal systems to train their employees.  Some hospitals also do not successfully take advantage of the opportunities available to provide health and safety education to the public and generate the positive publicity that can be obtained by such efforts.

At Less Stress Instructional Services, we have a long history of helping medical facilities fully take advantage of these opportunities.  We have a number of programs that can be offered both to hospital staff, local community members, and neighborhood businesses.  We also have years of experience in marketing these programs, and running them in a cost efficient manner.  Programs we can offer are:

Hospital Staff Training

- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Occupation Health Training (Outreach to neighborhood businesses)

- Forktruck / Lifttruck Compliance
- Respiratory Protection and Fit Testing
-
CPR / AED / First Aid Training
- Bloodborne Pathogens Training
- Hazard Communication Training

Community Programs (Outreach to local community members and organizations)

- EMT Programs and Continuing Education
- Community CPR and First Aid Classes
-
Defensive Driving Courses

There are a number of great reasons to outsource these programs to vendor.  Some of them include:

Program Longevity - Internalizing a program almost always involves promoting, appointing, and training a coordinator.  So often in healthcare, just as the time, effort, and expense have been invested in that coordinator, that person moves on to another job and the program gets abandoned or put on hold.   Less Stress Instructional Services has been providing service reliably for over 14 years, and is a trusted service provider for several New Jersey hospitals.

Expertise and High Success Rate - We know how to set up programs and how to market them effectively.  We also refer students from our existing publicity streams to new course sites we take on, adding to that facility's volume.  Programs we take on are highly successful.

Complete Logistics - When contracting with Less Stress Instructional Services, a facility receives more than just a training class.  They get a completely branded community publicity solution - a branded phone line that answers with the hospital's greeting, a staffed office that answers calls in real time, and a website that can take registrations 24/7.  Interested registrants will be automatically converted into registrations with payment by phone via major credit card, and opportunities will not be lost when people get voicemail and hang up or don't get a prompt call back.  This total support system for the program is integral for it's success, and cannot be achieved by simply appointing a part time person to coordinate a program.

Cost-Efficiency - Dedicating a program coordinator, using clinical staff to teach on overtime, and purchasing/maintaining expensive training gear for infrequent classes makes for an extremely costly operation.  We at Less Stress can often provide training sessions to your staff, and partially subsidize them with revenues generated by the community training effort. This gives the medical facility an inexpensive, reliable, training system without sapping the resources it uses for clinical services.

If your facility has training or outreach needs, contact us.  A coordinator will discuss how we can help you establish a first in class training system.  Email us at jmateus@lessstress.com or call us at 888-277-3671.
