MERT ONLINE DRILLS

When you are building a workplace emergency team, one training every two years is often not enough for responders to feel prepared.  Getting folks away from their duties to attend scheduled training can also be difficult.  Less Stress Instructional Services  has a line of Continuing Education offerings for workplace emergency teams that allows responders to practice skills through engaging multimedia-rich online programs.   Through text, video, interactivities, and virtual save-the-patient exercises our online continuing education programs allow participants to keep their first aid skills fresh between instructor-led training sessions without significant expenditure of time or money.

MERT Program

Advantages of online MERT drills include:

Increased engagement: MERT members feel like they are part of a continuing program, instead of something that isn’t thought about between 2-year certification trainings.

Site specificity: Target drills to the hazards at your workplace.  If your workplace has potential for physical injury, conduct MERT drills on falls, bleeding control, and fracture management.  Potential for toxic gas exposure? Conduct a drill on poisoning and oxygen administration.  You can add training modules to meet the needs of your team.
