We've gone high-tech!
This episode of the
PHCS is written in a special editing package that allows us to
bring
to you various special effects that we could never accomplish
with standard HTML alone.
This episode will feature many interactive features, such as a "scoreboard" at the end to gauge your performance, variable outcomes based on the choices you make during the game, and more "Mortimer Moments" than previous episodes. In general, we are very pleased with what we have put together in episode 29.
These improvements come with a price - less compatibility. You will need to download a short plug-in to make your browser work with the new script (many of you might already have it from playing our Y2000 Adult CPR Simulator). We suspect that some browsers, especially proprietary AOL versions, might result in an inability to play the simulator.
We are sorry if your browser cannot see the simulator on the next page, but in the interest of providing the best possible user experience, we had to make some tough choices. If you cannot see the new sim episode, we highly recommend that you download the current version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (http://www.microsoft.com) or Netscape Navigator (http://www.netscape.com)
