Play the EMT

The medic unit pulls up and two medics hop out. One feverishly fights to get a jammed med box out of the truck's side compartment. The other approaches you carrying a monitor and a jump kit.

Valerie: "Hey guys... what's up?"

Bob: "42 year old witnessed collapse - out for less than a minute per bystanders. Complains of dizziness and lightheadedness, denies chest pain or SOB. She has a history of hypertension - takes Cardizem. Hasn't eaten today - she was at a viewing here at the funeral home and passed out. Numbers look good - 130/88, pulse 90, resps 24, skin is warm/dry, lungs are clear."

Valerie: "Hmm... OK...."

Bob: "You're wondering why I didn't cancel you."

Valerie: "I didn't say that... but I thought it. Why didn't you cancel us?"

Bob: "I don't have one of those boxes with the squiggly lines. Just figured I'd play this one conservative."

Valerie: "Fair enough... "

The medic enters the truck and begins chatting with the patient. You pop your head in to see what is going on, when the medic looks to you and asks:

Valerie: "Can you give me a hand?"

Sure...
Hey - you run your procedures, I'll run mine...
