I-V Access

Well, it's probably early to start an I-V. You're unsure if this patient will need an ALS transport, and if you decide to turf off the call to BLS, you'll have to discontinue the I-V and you're left with an unneccessary wound and used supplies you can't bill for.

Do a little more investigating and then consider I-V access.
