Feet up

You elevate the stretcher's feet about a foot. With the patient tilted, you also wrap a blanket around the patient to keep her warm.

You and Mortimer collect all of your equipment and start proceeding to the ambulance.

In one coordinated move, you and Mortimer load the cot into the truck. Mortimer has gotten his latex glove caught in the stretcher mechanism, so you wait for a moment while he struggles to get free. Suddenly you hear a couple of messages over the radio:

BLS 3: "BLS 3 - arriving at 495 Eternarest Ave..."

ALS 1: "ALS 1 - our ETA to Eternarest is about 1 minute."

Ugh... you forgot you had everyone in the county coming to this job. What do you want to do with BLS 3?
