Send Mortimer in first...

You tell Mortimer go run up the stairs and assess the patient while you go back to the truck for the AED. As you pull the defibrillator out of the truck, you hear Mortimer screaming over the radio...

Mortimer - "Bob - get in here quick. It IS a code!!!"

You tear up the stairway with the AED. The bystanders are all in a panic, and you are forced to push past them to reach your partner and the patient. As you enter the main viewing room, you see Mortimer already treating the patient.

Mortimer - "Get those pads on the patient Bob.... There's no pulse!!!"

You really should know better than to send Mortimer in to conduct a patient assessment Bob...
