Thump

Mortimer decides to give the patient a precordial thump. Shaking with anticipation, he draws a large "X" on the patient's sternum with a permanent marker, and he puts on his "Thumpin' glove".

Bob: "Nice to see you're taking so much care for this intervention Mort, but it's really not indicated."

Mortimer's eyes gloss over like he's about to cry as he takes off his "Thumpin' glove".

Mortimer: "OK Bob.... I'll just do compressions or some other procedure..."
