Simulator Comments

This is a page of comments we have collected over the last year about the simulator. Some may seem odd as the simulator began as an all-text game and there was no images at all. 99% of feedback was very good and we'd like to thank everyone who dropped us a line of encouragement. Those whose feedback was not good, we still included in this section as we accept criticism as well as praise. I wish we could have included all of the comments we received, but we would literally run out of server space. If your comments aren't here, please realize that it is a resource issue. Your opinions are just as important to us here at Less Stress Instructional Services. These are all 'cut and pasted' right off the e-mails we get so any typos or misspellings (for once) aren't ours.

"I really enjoyed going through the simulator, I think it was very, very well done. I hope that more simulations are in the making. The trauma one was especially well done, I liked the explinations. Great job!"

Thanks all!!!!!!!! This is the best that I have seen. There is humor in EMS! and it is all so true. I work in an ED dept and this is the most realistic scenerio that I have seen. Keep up the good work and I cant wait for your next scenerio If you would like any interesting cases just let me know!

HI, I'm responding to your PRE-HOSP CARE SIMULATER. I am an EMT-P-2 and have been for several years, your simulater is a great thing for a basic EMT but rember, All the smart ass remarks that you guys put in this simulator is offinsive and possibly extreamly frustrating to a basic EMT.I know because I watched one play it tonight and he's discourged in himself. Now I know he he shouldn't feel so bad but he want's nothing more right now but to be a EMT-PARAMEDIC some day. So think about people who take this shit seriousley and try not to make a joke out of it after all your only an EMT basic who has a D-FIB certification. FROM A PISSED OFF PARAMEDIC!!!!!

Hi...I am a Paramedic in Ontario and I just thought I would drop a line and tell you how much I enjoyed your scenerios. The mass casualty incident one taught me I had better refresh my mind on the protocols for tagging :)...otherwise great job and keep it up.

The simulators were great before but now that you have added the CPR, it's even better. I train first responders where I work. To use the EMS ideas, we had to really change them. But this, is great. I'd like to see more "first aid" simulations for the John Doe's and Jane Doe's of this world. Thank you.

I am taking my E.M.T.-B class at the time. I found your scenario great. I went through all of them in one setting, and am going to tell the class about them. I really enjoyed them, and look forward to more. They have helped me a lot. Thank You...

This is great. I am an EMS and CPR instructor. I tell all the EMT's I know about this site and now I will have to tell the general community. A very good non-threatening way to practice. Keep it up

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoy your simulator. My partner and I found it one night and laughed until we cried doing the scenarios. Not too long after we were on a run and my partner (Dennis) says, "what do we do now Bob?" I knew exactly where he was going with that one, laughed and dug in! Our duty squad is now known as the "Morty and Bob Show" Keep up the good work!

Hey, I'm very impressed with the website, but I have a question... where are scenarios 1 through 6??? just 'cause we cam in late.... "We" are {name 1} and {name 2}. {name 2} is a firefighter/'medic here in Seattle and I, {name 1} am a critical care RN. My present incarnation is Peds ICU, but my first love is trauma. {name 2} works with a group of firefighters who have very little EMT background. your page is a great one for them, even if most of them are "Mortys"

Great page - Brilliant simulator! Your protocols and names/abbreviations are very different there to what we have in South Africa, but once you start to get used to them, the sim becomes easier by the minute. I spent a most entertaining half hour here and will definitely be back for more...this time with some colleages to ensure a lively debate :-)

Your simulator is amusing, and alot of fun. Is Mortimer really like that???? Is Mortimer really his name???? LOL, I look forward to more scenarios in the future!!!

Hello there! Just a short note to say "Thanks! I enjoyed that!" I'll be back in a couple weeks to try the other scenarios. The partner match-up reminds me of the service I work for..well..not quite, but close enough..:> Loved the justice BLS style..:> Cheers and thanks again!

Hi...I have really enjoyed the Pre-Hospital Simulator you've set up and laughed several times while going through it. I don't mean to be a hard-ass, but I thought the exchange with the nurse in the transport scenario was inappropriate. I don't like being referred to as a "bedpan jockey." I understand that there are nurses that don't understand the practice scopes of BLS vs. ALS crews, but come on! I have yet to find a nursing page that insults the pre-hospital profession. I am an RN and NREMT...I love the guys that bring patients to my ER. We're all on the same team and each side deserves respect. Thanks for listening to me...I feel better after saying that. Please continue providing these scenarios as I plan to bookmark your page! :o)

I'm a cadet fireman and training in emt techniques also. I found these to be funny and informative. I'll enjoy more of your scenarios in the future I'm sure... Keep up the good work, and thanks.

Good job, people!!! The simulator is fun and hilarious! I hope to see more scenarios. I work as an EMT-A (intermidiate) on an ALS crew in Alberta, Canada. We do have a few EMS websites, but nothing like the Less Stress site. Keep it up!

Last month I found your webpage and the scenarios are great! They really helped me brush up on my EMT skills. I enjoyed the humor put into them too, so don't let anyone tell you they're not funny! Thanks for the terrific website!! When are some new scenarios coming? I cannot wait!

... the fact that you discourage, or do not accept "arguements" regarding regional treatment protocols suggests to me (along with my test of your interactive system) an unfortunate medical system in your area. I have to note this, if for no other reason than to have pass on a warning (maybe you did, and I didn't read close enough) to potential/current EMS personnel that may think this is the way to do things -- I'm frightened by some of what I have seen as recommended practice.
